Getting Started

So being inspired by good friends who do this, it seemed like a good time to take the plunge. Whether or not I actually have something to say remains to be seen but we'll see how this goes. There is the opportunity to explolre many different topics from politics to parenting and that is the goal of this blog and to also provide me with a bit of a creative outlet through writing. The fact that it will enable me to stay in touch with friends around the world is an added bonus. So I hope you will visit often, leave a comment and keep an open mind...always.
